Visitation hours in the hospital are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Although visitors are allowed outside of these hours, this practice is discouraged to allow maximum rest for all patients. Visitors coming after regular visitor hours need to check in with the Security office at the Emergency Department entrance. A pass will be required, as the doors to the main hospital are locked after 9 p.m. Some areas (such as the ICUs, Emergency Department and The Women's Center) may have specific visiting guidelines. Please check with your nurse or department staff for more information.
Visiting hours at The Women's Center are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. No children under 16 are permitted except if they are a sibling of the newborn. During flu season, children may not be allowed. The Women's Center is a secure facility and visitors need a badge provided by the patient's primary support person or father of the baby. Badges are limited to four for each patient room at any time.
