Northwest Medical Center's August Healthy Woman Seminar to Feature Gastroenterologist and Gluten-free Food Sampling
Tucson, AZ (August 8, 2012) — Are you bloated after every meal? Does heartburn have a hold on you? Do dairy products make your tummy rumble? If you experience problems such as these, you should trust your gut, not ignore it. Join Northwest Medical Center (NMC) for its August Healthy Woman seminar, "Trust You Gut – Common Digestive Problems and Ways to Treat Them," presented by board-certified gastroenterologist Romeo Esquivel, M.D. This free event takes place Monday, August 27 at 6:30 p.m. at The Event Center, 6060 N. Fountain Plaza Drive, Suite 130, adjacent to the Women's Center on the NMC campus.
Digestive ailments are strikingly common and, once diagnosed, are treatable.
Dr. Esquivel will highlight the causes and symptoms of several common digestive problems and how to treat them. Gourmet Girls Gluten-Free Bakery will be on hand at the seminar to serve up gluten-free foods. All attendees will also be entered for a chance to win a gift certificate from Rubs Massage Oro Valley.

Healthy Woman is a free community program provided by NMC to empower women with the knowledge and confidence to make informed health care and well-being decisions for themselves and their loved ones. The seminars are held on the fourth Monday of every month.
