Northwest Medical Center’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit is a 13-bed facility dedicated to providing quality one-on-one care to help patients return to a functional lifestyle after serious illness or injury.
Located on the third floor of Northwest Medical Center, our large rooms feature homelike comforts, including a walk-in shower, spacious bathrooms, ample closets for personal belongings, and generous seating for family and visitors. Every patient room is private to provide better rest and to promote a safe and speedy recovery in a comfortable, therapeutic environment.
Inpatient Rehabilitation at Northwest Medical Center is for patients who require intensive ongoing therapy for health conditions such as stroke, brain injury, arthritis, spine, neurological conditions, femur fractures, amputations and post-traumatic injuries.
Our goal is to help patients regain their independence. Our comprehensive therapy unit offers a daily regimen of one-on-one physical, occupational and/or speech therapy so patients can ultimately return to doing the everyday activities they love to do. Medical direction is provided by a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician, a specialist dedicated to rehabilitation, who oversees the patient’s care.
