We believe that having loved ones nearby lifts spirits, brightens moods and improves healing. However, for everyone's safety, there are a few things to consider when coming by to say hello.
We encourage visitors for emotional support and recovery. To provide a restful and safe environment, we ask that all visitors comply with the following guidelines:
General Visiting Hours
Visiting hours are 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Visitors are allowed outside these hours, but we ask that you schedule your time with friends and family during this timeframe, if possible, to allow maximum rest for our patients. Facility visitors arriving before 9 a.m. or after 9 p.m. should check in with the security office at the ED entrance for a security pass, as the main entrance is locked and some areas of the hospital – the ED, ICU, or the Women's Center – may have specific visiting guidelines.
Please check with your nurse or department staff for visiting hour information.
Visiting hours for the maternity department are 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Children must be at least 16 years old unless they are the sibling of a newborn. During flu season, children may not be allowed to visit.
All maternity visitors must have a badge provided by the father of the newborn or the patient's primary support person. Badges are limited to four per patient room.
