Troy Taduran, D.O.
1871 W. Orange Grove Road, Suite 135
Tucson, Arizona 85704
From a very young age, Dr. Taduran knew he wanted to be a doctor. His father was a physician, and watching him affect peoples' lives in such a unique way inspired Dr. Taduran to follow in his footsteps. Dr. Taduran believes that as a physician, it is important to be accessible to patients, a role model, and a contributor to the community.
Patients often ask him, "Why sports medicine?" This answer is simple - Dr. Taduran truly love sports. He grew up playing every sport and continue to lead a very active life. Being an athlete himself gives him better insight into the psyche of the athletes he cares for. He chose Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine/Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine because, as an Osteopath, he believes in the body's inherent ability to heal itself. He uses Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment with a focus on structure and function to help his patients achieve optimal health.
Dr. Taduran believes patients would describe him as compassionate, caring, attentive, knowledgeable, patient, and a good communicator. He always try to go the extra mile to make sure his patients feel that they are well taken care of and understand their diagnoses.
Dr. Taduran's treatment goal is to understand the cause of musculoskeletal pain and affect it at its origin. When it comes to developing the treatment plan, he and his patients are a team working toward a goal. That goal is getting patients back on the field or court, back to work, or back to the activities they enjoy as quickly and safely as possible.
Outside of work, Dr. Taduran enjoys spending time with his family. He is a sports enthusiast and enjoy watching all sports, particularly football, basketball, and baseball. He also enjoys working out, softball, basketball, golf, running, biking, camping, boating, and snow skiing.
