From an early age, Dr. Lee witnessed the profound effect her mother, as a nurse, had on the lives of her patients. Following her example of caring for patients, Dr. Lee decided to go to medical school and specialize in the field of general surgery. She was fellowship trained in minimally invasive laparascopic surgery and discovered it is not only a graceful and refined surgical style, but it offers many advantages to surgical patients.
As a surgeon, Dr. Lee treat a variety of conditions including hernias, colon cancer and benign colon disease, small bowel disease, gallbladder disease and other common general surgical diseases.
She is passionate about providing quality care and building relationships with her patients. She understands that a warm and caring bedside manner is almost as important as a surgeon's competency and skills in the operating room. Dr. Lee will take the time to answer questions, address concerns and make sure patients understand their options.
Dr. Lee also strive to build strong relationships with other physicians, nurses and the patient's entire medical team so the patient can be assured he or she is receiving comprehensive, quality care.
Dr. Lee is proficient in Spanish.
