Linda Nolin is dedicated to helping patients understand their health conditions. As a former teacher she has a talent for explaining things to others. As a nurse she has served as a resource for patient and staff education efforts. Now as a Family Nurse Practitioner she is able to include patient education in her practice. She takes great care to explain medical conditions to patients in terms they can understand. Linda’s past experience with chronic disease management allows her to work with patients in coordinating their care with diabetes, hypertension, and chronic kidney disease.
Linda’s focus has been caring for patients in Assisted Living and Skilled Rehab centers for several years. Her philosophy is to care for the elderly patients in the same way as someone in her own family- with dignity and respect. She gets great joy caring for the patients in a long term care setting and who visit her office. Listening is a key component Linda uses to get to know her patients. Understanding what is important to them helps Linda develop a plan of care that the patient is comfortable with. Linda wants to see her patients thrive and manage their chronic illnesses and enjoy a productive life.
